Wick brings the larger-than-life aesthetics of 80s rock to a modern sound that ranges from nostalgic and in-your-face dance-pop to lush and raw power ballads. Their slick and hook-saturated songwriting blends influence from modern acts like Walk the Moon, The Midnight and The 1975 with admiration for icons like Prince.
Their studio production employs a carefully measured cocktail of equal parts rich vintage synths and stacked vocal harmonies with a dash of guyliner-adorned glam metal guitar. These elements come together to create a distinctive sonic brand that’s uniquely edgy and eclectic.
The project’s creative direction is led by frontman Jesse Robinson with writing and production support from Kevyn James.
Following a short run of trial performances, their first single "Speak of the Devil" was released on August 2nd of 2019. Though the band is new to the Nashville scene, they've generated significant buzz with the release of their debut EP MOMENT.
